Leanne Williams serves as the Guilford County "Learn to Swim" (LTS) Coordinator. After moving to Greensboro in 2023, she joined the program as a swim instructor and transitioned to her current role as coordinator in the summer of 2024.
As coordinator of the LTS program, Williams aims to foster an environment of patience and care, helping each student improve by meeting them at their skill level with the support of experienced and well-trained staff. Leanne is also focused on developing community engagement and volunteer opportunities.
Before coming to the Greensboro Aquatic Center, Leanne worked as an event manager at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville, San Antonio Zoo, and Don Strange of TX. She has also served as a high school teacher, camp and group home counselor, hotel front desk agent at the MGM Grand and Hilton Waikoloa, white water river guide, assistant swim coach, and lifeguard.
Leanne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
